Is it a child, playing in the snow? Anna investigates. She wanders around outside the house. A cute little girl appears behind her, as if out of nowhere. The wee girl is all wrapped up with her coat and woolly hat. She is pulling a sled. Anna is startled by the child’s sudden appearance.

“They call me Lucy,” the girl says. “Do you have children?” she asks Anna.

“No,” Anna says with irritation on her face. Perhaps worry too.
