Josh makes himself a strong brew and sits at the table by the window with some tapes and the player. He puts a tape into the machine and presses the Play key.
“Hey everybody,” an enthusiastic voice announces, “welcome to the Tommy and Johnny Show!” Josh starts to smile. “…and we’re here to hear yoooooo…”
“And what do we have for them today, Johnny?” says the straight voice of his mate Tommy, and then:
“Well, we have two tickets to the Elite Prom,” says the zany voice of “Johnny”.
“It’s where the Elite eat their meat from their father’s feet …”
“From their father’s feet? What’s that mean?”
The silly conversation continues with Tommy playing the 'parts' of various oddballs in a made-up radio show. Josh smiles at the antics of his mate. That’s Tommy all right he thinks.
