And then she comes across a gate of metal bars which is swung open. It has the key in it. She closes over the gate with a bang and locks it, blocking this tunnel. And then she carries on through, occasionally stopping and shining her torch back to see if anything is pursuing her. The strange creature has gotten as far as the locked gate.
