“My name is Sophia,” she says to him.

“How long have you been in the house?” he asks, with some wariness in his voice. She just shakes her head. “How long?” he says again.

“Who are you? she asks him, with bewilderment and fear in her expression.

“We are we,” he replies.

There is a thud in the distance. “We can’t wait here.” He begins to run, and he beckons her to come along. “They know you’re here, hurry!” He raises his voice. She follows and they both run down a corridor.
