Tom is a landscape gardener. Julie is a primary-school teacher. Both are in their late twenties and are thinking about purchasing a house.
On a whim, they visit an estate agency. The agent, John, informs them of a new development and all three drive out to have a look. The houses are all identical suburban homes. The whole estate is silent, empty, and otherworldly. Johns shows the couple around house #9. And then he promptly vanishes.
