150 Escape Hatch

While David desperately holds the Chapel-door back, Sophia screws up her face, in concentration, trying to get a solution from her memory. She scans the whole room, repeatedly. She sees something high up on the wall. Something out of place in a Chapel. Grabbing a chair, she places it on a table to gain more height, then she gets up on top of a platform which is immediately below a circular hatch high up, near to the ceiling. She grips the handle and the hatch-door swings open to reveal a narrow tunnel.

“David!” She shouts. “Come on!” He leaves the door just as the Jangoweed finally break it down into splinters. He gets up to the hatch, and Sophia leads the way as they crawl through the tunnel.
